What is ODS(on disk structure) in IBM Lotus Domino

ODS in Lotus Notes Domino is stands for ON Disk Structure. By Default: Domino 6, 7, 8 and 8.5 have the default ODS version of 43. The maximum version for Domino 6 and 7 is 43. The maximum version for Domino 8 is 48. The maximum version for Domino 8.5 is 51.

How to restrict lotus notes users to send a mail from diffrent internet address by changing internet address in thier lotus notes location document settings

Lotus notes user puts somebody else's Internet address in Location and sends e-mail throught Internet ? Then, you cannot check by who was it sent actually. To prevent lotus users to send a mail from someone`s e-mail address,please do below settings. Go to server`s configuration documents------ MIME-----Advanced----Advanced outbound messaging tab. Put "InetFrom" to Notes items to be removed from headers field without quotes, which holds the internet address as specified in the location document. When those fields are missing, the router will do a lookup in the Domino Directory to find the senders' correct internet address. If the person doc doesn't have an internet address, the router will construct an internet address based on the conversion options specified in the global domain document.

NSD in Lotus Notes and Domino

NSD a program that comes with both the Notes Client and the Domino Server. It takes control in the event of a crash, and writes a diagnostic log that is frequently very helpful in figuring out what went wrong. If you ever experience a crash in Notes or Domino, nsd.exe will automatically come online and do its thing. You'll find the resulting crash log in the IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT sub-folder in your Notes/Domino data directory. How to read NSD FILES.
